Kingslynn is an indie pop trio from Miami that originated in early 2014 comprised of David A. Molina, Michael Alexander and his wife, Evelyn Grace.
With synth influences of the 80’s, modern programming and strings of a grand orchestra, J. Simpson from The Even Ground applauds Kingslynn for managing to be retro and epic while avoiding common melodrama. “Kingslynn is not running from the future and nor are they afraid of it. But instead, Kinslynn is dreaming, summoning, and embracing it” says J. Simpson.
In 2014, Kingslynn released their first 4-song EP titled “Dreamer”. The EP was completely self-produced, mixed and mastered and helped the band gain a small following. Shortly after release, the title song Dreamer was heard in a behind the scenes documentary by Warner Brothers for the critically acclaimed video game Shadow of Mordor including several short films and local TV commercials.
Since the release of their first EP, they have been writing and recording their second EP which is expected to release in Fall 2015.
We are very excited to announce our new EP titled Steady is coming in less than a month! Stay tuned for more info! http://t.co/eZaynj34LX
